He is the reigning Champion Sire of Queensland and features in the top 10 Sire (Winners), Top 15 Sire (Earnings) in Australia from just 5 crops to race. Wild About Her who is by the multiple Group 1 winner Big Brown (Vinery Stud) who won the Group 1 Kentucky Derby and Group Preakness Stakes, claiming two out of the three legs of the American Triple Crown. Wild About Her is out of the Group 1 Australasian Oaks winner Once Were Wild making her a half sister to the Group 3 Summoned Stakes winner Long Time Ago.
The colt was presented at the unique one off John Singleton dispersal sale held at his Strawberry Hill Stud.
The sale itself was overseen by Magic Millions who have produced many recent top class graduates that include multiple Group 1 sprinting sensation Imperatriz, Golden Rose winner Jacquinot (Stallion Widden Stud), Group 1 Thousand Guineas winner Madame Pommery, Group 1 Coolmore Classic winner Espiona, TAB Everest winner Yes Yes Yes (Stallion Coolmore Australia), Golden Slipper winner Stay Inside (Stallion Newgate Farm), 2 year old Magic Millions and Golden Slipper winner Capitalist (Stallion Newgate Farm). The colt himself was well put together for a first foal with plenty of upside to him.
What we loved the most about him was his action, he was very athletic and moved very well for a young horse he showed a fantastic attitude.
