Meet Snap Decision
A gelding by one of Australasia’s most exciting up and coming stallions in Proisir who stands at Rich Hill Stud in New Zealand.
Proisir has really set the world alight as a stallion a stud career that commenced from very humble beginnings. He will now command a fee of $77,000 this upcoming season off the back of having 17 individual stakes performers the 2022/2023 season alone.
An incredible 5 individual group 1 winners including NZ wonder filly Prowess won Group 1 Vinery Stud stakes, Legarto won Group 1 Australian Guineas, the $1 million The Gong winner Riodini and the recent Group 2 Thousand Guineas Prelude winner Couer Volante who would go on to finish 4th in the Group 1 Thousand Guineas.
This gelding is out of the winning High Chaparral mare Rossita a producer of 1 runner for 1 winner to the track so far.
High Chaparral is a six time group 1 winner including the Irish and English Derby double for his connections Coolmore. High Chaparral has proven himself time and time again with 40 stakes winners as a broodmare sire.
He was presented by Davali Thoroughbreds at the Inglis HTBA sale in 2023 held in Warwick Farm a sale rich in history having produced many horses of quality including Group 1 performer Voodoo Lad and Rocketing By.
Davali Thoroughbreds do a fantastic job and are situated on the Hunter river in Luskintyre, NSW prime country for raising top class racehorses. The colt was a real standout for us with the only other Proisir yearling to be offered in Australia in 2023 realising $320k.
He caught our eye the second he walked, a flashy type that had a lot of swagger especially when he paraded. He had a beautiful loose action that allowed him to cover a lot of ground and was very well balanced.
He had a great attitude and got on with the job every time he paraded. He is trained by one of the leading country trainers in Australia Cody Morgan in Tamworth, NSW. Cody offers state of the art facilities and top class communication that give the horse every chance
