Brutal won the Main Everest lead up, the WFA Group 2 Premiere Stakes, defeating Classique Legend, Osborne Bulls, Graff, etc.

Brutal won the time-honoured Group 1 Doncaster Handicap in fewer starts than any horse in history.

Brutal was good enough to push Winx in the WFA Group 1 George Ryder Stakes while also clearing out from the rest of a high-class field and annihilated a quality field of 2YOs, including G1 winner Mystic Journey, by 5L at Caulfield in his first career start.
