The Magic Millions Race Series and the Inglis Race Series are both prestigious and lucrative events in the world of horse racing, particularly in Australia. These series offer significant opportunities for owners to get involved in racing for substantial returns, especially with horses purchased from the respective sales and meeting specific age criteria.
Magic Millions Race Series:
The Magic Millions Race Series is one of the most prominent and financially rewarding racing events in Australia. It comprises a series of races held across various distances and age groups, culminating in the Magic Millions raceday.
The Magic Millions sales, held annually on the Gold Coast in Queensland, offer a wide range of horses, particularly yearlings, which are eligible to compete in the Magic Millions races.
Owners who purchase horses from the Magic Millions sales and nominate them for the series have the opportunity to compete for significant prize money, bonuses, and incentives.
The series includes feature races such as the Magic Millions 2YO Classic and the Magic Millions 3YO Guineas, which attract top-quality young horses and offer substantial prize pools.
By targeting horses specifically bred for these races and meeting the eligibility criteria, owners have the chance to compete for lucrative returns in a restricted environment, fostering competition among horses of similar backgrounds.
Inglis Race Series:
Similar to the Magic Millions Race Series, the Inglis Race Series is another prestigious racing event in Australia that offers substantial prize money and bonuses.
The Inglis sales, including the Easter Yearling Sale and the Premier Yearling Sale, provide owners with opportunities to purchase quality racehorses bred by some of the best breeders in the country.
Horses purchased from Inglis sales and nominated for the race series are eligible to compete in a range of races, including the Inglis Millennium for two-year-olds and the Inglis Sprint for three-year-olds.
The Inglis Race Series is designed to reward owners who invest in horses from Inglis sales, offering significant financial incentives and enhancing the value of Inglis-sold horses in the racing industry.
For owners, participating in these race series offers several advantages:
High Returns: The prize money and bonuses associated with these races can be substantial, providing owners with the potential for significant financial returns on their investment.
Prestige and Recognition: Winning or even participating in these prestigious races can elevate the profile of owners, trainers, and horses within the racing community and attract attention from potential buyers or sponsors.
Restricted Competition: By limiting eligibility to horses purchased from specific sales and meeting age criteria, these race series create a level playing field and encourage competition among horses with similar backgrounds, enhancing the excitement and competitiveness of the races.
Overall, the Magic Millions Race Series and the Inglis Race Series present excellent opportunities for owners to participate in high-stakes racing and potentially reap substantial rewards with their investments in quality racehorses.
INGLIS MILLENNIUM FOCUS:
Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott have dominated two-year-old racing in Australia this season, having taking out the $500k Debutant race with Too Darn Lizzie and the Magic Millions 2YO classic with Storm Boy but their prospects in Saturday’s $2million Inglis Millennium (1200m) at Royal Randwick were dealt a blow when Hellbent colt Fully Lit drew gate 17, while the Ciaron Maher trained Odinson drew ideally in gate 4.
If the all conquering Waterhouse/Bott stable are to continue their dominance in the Inglis Millennium its going to the one hell of a performance.
INGLIS MILLENNIUM Rematch:
Odinson won the $500,000 Inglis Nursery last December and the two horses he defeated, Beer Baron and Nymphadora, are back for a rematch in the Inglis Millennium.
