Horse Trainer
Scott Singleton
Scott Singleton hails from an enviable racing background, gaining his License to Train at just 20. From riding trackwork at 14 years of age to becoming a fully-fledged jockey, he has travelled internationally, absorbing the knowledge of many successful trainers. Scott’s background also includes the privilege of working for the legendary Bart Cummings. With such an enviable history in the industry, Scott is down-to-earth, well-respected, and just as passionate about racehorses as he was when he was a boy!
With a foundation of knowledge gained from his mentors, Scott firmly believes in developing a closeness with the thoroughbred and taking a hands-on approach when it comes to training. Scott takes on board feedback to make informed decisions about where and how each horse is performing. His reputation at correctly placing his horses on track for the best possible results is what sets him apart.
Scott’s intuition and ability to read his horses provide the foundations for success. He takes the time to receive and analyse feedback, monitoring how the horses are progressing throughout each stage of their preparations, making changes on an individual basis to ensure a tailored approach to each thoroughbred. Nothing is left to chance. Scott is a dedicated professional, and his love of horses and their welfare take priority at all stages of their training.
Scott has an astute reputation across the industry and is well respected and regarded. His recent purchase of idyllic horse property in Scone has provided access to new South Wales country racing tracks from Dubbo to Muswellbrook and Tamworth.
Kurrinda Bloodstock has welcomed Scott to the team, where his wealth of experience and dedication to excellence in training is second to none. In addition, Scott’s expertise allows KBoodstock Syndicates access to yet another champion training provider.
