Half Crown was a relatively cheap purchase when secured at Inglis HTBA sale, then held in Scone a sale rich in history having produced many horses of quality including Group 1 performer Voodoo Lad and Rocketing By.
Half Crown was nice shape of a horse as a yearling, he had a great hind end and a good shoulder, he carried himself well, although not overly big he was no standout at the sale as reflected in his price but there was something about him he had a fantastic willing attitude, a very professional customer and wanted to work with you all positive traits that would allow him to go on to become a very genuine and honest race horse.
